Kandla Grey sawn & honed cobbles or ‘setts’ can offer a very durable surface for driveways and pathways. They can be used to edge circles, patios, flower beds. natural hand-cut Indian sandstone setts are robust and durable and give a distinct authentic appearance to any project. An ideal application would be for courtyards, driveways, paths, and patios when laid on a sub-base/concrete using a mortar bed. These sawn cobbles are defiantly something special, they work hand in hand with our kandla grey sawn & honed paving in both patio packs and 600×900 slabs. They can add more interest to the patio and makes it stand out from the rest!
Kandla Grey sandstone contains natural iron which may oxidize and appear as brown marks. This may never occur, if it does occur there are products that can help remove it or it can be left to fade itself. It may affect some stone more than others. The iron is normally found within grey sandstone from any supplier and is not classed as a fault.
