Cobbles or ‘setts’ can offer a very durable surface for driveways and pathways. They can be used to edge circles, patios, flower beds. natural hand-cut Indian sandstone setts are robust and durable and gives a distinct authentic appearance to any project. An ideal application would be for courtyards, driveways, paths, and patios when laid on a sub-base/concrete using a mortar bed.
Autumn Brown sandstone contains natural iron which may oxidize and appear as brown marks. This may never occur if it does occur there are products that can help remove it or it can be left to fade itself and it may affect some stone more than others. The iron is normally found within grey sandstone from any supplier and is not classed as a fault.
